Stick Stickly is in my head! Anyway, it's been a while since i put up a blog on he-yaaah. well, thanksgiving was boring... ate and went home.. idk.. Black Friday was alright. went to Best Buy around 1 and then went to my grandparents house. Yesterday, however, i finally got to spend some time with my mom :) we drove up to Riverside to see UC Riverside and then Cal State San Marcos.. two schools i applied for. they were both very nice campuses.
Also, i was thinking of how cool it would be to play synth in a band like Caleb Shomo used to play in Attack Attack! haha thats pretty snazzy

That's OGT
So we played Otay's Got Talent yesterday...
AND IT WAS AWESOME! :D
We played one of our newer songs called "Ego Diligos Vos" and the crowd was into it! which surprised me because i thought they would just sit there staring blindly :P The judges didn't seem to know much about our type of music... in my honest opinion because they criticized how i didn't use the toms on that song and that i was "off tempo" :/ but i kind of ignored it afterwards.
after that Anthony, Tomas, Me and the Playrockers (bboy group) hung out in the bathroom and heard what the judges had to say about the other acts. then was the time to announce the winners
we all went on stage and they announced the winners
3rd- PlayRockers
2nd- Danielle and her act
1st- Primitive Notion and "Techno Samurai" Patrick Canlas :D
personally, i think that they all deserved their winnings :) Especially Primitive Notion since theyre good buds with us and we basically support each other... and touch each other o.O

Last One. I Promise...
haha ok.. i'm serious this time. this will be the last one of the night.
college...
somewhere i want to go to. a place where i can start anew. :)
college...
A place to go to leave behind all friends and family. a place to start anew. :/
how do i start this... i want to go to college but then again... i don't want to go to college. By going to college, i'm about 99% sure that i'm leaving the city. why? because i only applied to 3 SD schools and the rest are elsewhere in the state. But there's one thing that i know i'm going to miss the most. My bandmates, companions, amigos, friends, besties (eww but true haha) in my band Nightmare's Riot. It's something that i don't want to leave behind... it's something that i grew up and had alot of fun doing. But, with everything, it all ends at some point in time. Now that may sound less than optimistic to alot of people but it's the harsh truth. i wish that i can take the whole band with me to college and we can continue to play :D that would be awesome... but i cant.... i cant imagine how heartbreaking and tough it's going to be, for me, for all of us, to play that last song of the last show...... EVER for Nightmare's Riot.
It's something that we don't really want to discuss but i feel that we have to... i want to finish writing this album before i go away to college. i want to write that new EP. i want to make a music video. there's so many things that i still want to do with this band that we havent done yet.
it's frustrating and heartbreaking, but in the end, i know i'll always be able to say that i was in a band with two amazing band members... even if we never played Soma... it was a fun ride that i'll keep holding onto until i'm at the very F*****G end...
TO END ON A POSITIVE NOTE
i'm going to be able to finish UC apps by today (i was going to say tomorrow until i saw that it was 12! wooooowza!) This means that i can go back to Nightmare's Riot. Or maybe make some Pop-Punk side project ;) haha

ok.
so i have hit writers block. -_- my personal Statement is waiting for me to write a cheesy idea or line that the UC readers will see as "wow! this kid seems nice!" :/
so anyway, since i can't think of anything i might as well just detail my day.
woke up, ate breakfast, took the bus, went to school. and then nutrition break happened.... :)
i saw her. and we said "hi" now to some, a simple "hi"sounds so stupid to blog or even talk about. But to me... it made me happy inside. not that i wasn't already happy before but you know, that kind of seeing the person you like making you warm inside happy haha.. enough about that....
oh yeah... went to 3rd pd which is Human Anatomy with my friend Alex and learned about Muscle contractions. pretty interesting stuff ya knooooow? right..
then after, i went with my band Nightmare's Riot to rehearse for our school's talent show which is tomorrow!! im excited :D all that happened and yeah.... ate some Taco Bell. mmm came home.
showered and started writing my Personal Statement. soon, i began to wonder about the the future. as far as going to college and Nightmare's Riot.. (i will detail this stuff later on another post)
and now i write this blog and my fingers and toes are freezing haha i need me some gloves for my feet! or just socks :p
